About The Position

Tioga Dental Center is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist in Gainesville to provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction in a team-based clinical environment. The practice provides comprehensive, personalized care in a warm and welcoming setting, prioritizing patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health.

The Dental Hygienist provides routine cleanings, assessments, and patient education while supporting a team of dental professionals. The position is hourly and scheduled Mondays and Fridays from 8 to 4.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.

Nice To Haves

• Local anesthesia certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine dental cleanings and oral health assessments.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care.
• Assist dentists with exams and treatments, and take dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and adhere to sterilization protocols.
