About The Position
Provide therapeutic dental services that support promotion of good oral health; perform preliminary oral examinations and prophylactic treatments; gather and record new patient information; take intra- and extra-oral, digital and traditional radiographs, and provide information to patients on their health status to help them develop and maintain good oral health. Maintain cleanliness of work areas; ensure implementation of safety standards and proper disposal of hazardous and infectious materials.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from accredited Dental Hygiene program
- 3+ years related experience
- Valid NYS Dental Hygiene license
- Excellent patient relationship skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client population
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Experience working with Cephalometric Radiographs
