About The Position

Dentologie’s Evanston dental practice is seeking a kind and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join its hygiene team. The practice is located at Fountain Square in downtown Evanston and has seven spacious operatories. This full-time role offers a predictable schedule at a single practice, with flexible part-time scheduling also available. The position pays $60–$65 per hour at the Evanston practice, depending on experience, and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and monthly bonus opportunities. The team provides day-one mentorship from senior hygiene leaders, laser therapy training, and continuing education including CPR renewal.

The hygienist provides licensed periodontal services, assists the dentist during examinations, prepares instruments and materials, educates patients, and obtains dental radiographs and intraoral scans or photographs. The practice uses Dentrix Ascend, iTero scanners, Piezo scalers, intraoral cameras, Dexis sensors, Gemini Diode lasers, and Hu-Friedy instruments. Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Dental Hygiene license.
• Local Anesthesia certification.
• Ability to provide patient care in licensed dental periodontal services.
• Proficiency in obtaining dental radiographs and intraoral scans or photographs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for dental periodontal services within the scope of the hygienist’s licenses.
• Assist the dentist chairside during examinations.
• Prepare instruments and materials for patient procedures.
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education.
• Obtain dental radiographs and intraoral scans and photographs.
