Requirements
- Degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Current and valid state dental hygiene license.
- Certification in dental radiography.
- Ability to conduct thorough dental assessments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient education and guidance on proper oral hygiene practices and maintaining optimal oral health.
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and preventive services.
- Take and develop dental X-rays.
- Perform screenings for oral cancer and other dental diseases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including clinical notes and observations.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
