Registered Dental Assistant - Ottosen & Nygard - Moses Lake
About The Position
Ottosen & Nygard Endodontics, a trusted practice supported by Mosaic Dental Collective, is looking for an upbeat, dependable, and team-oriented Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join their team in Moses Lake, WA. The role is essential in keeping days smooth, efficient, and full of smiles, creating a positive experience for both patients and the team. The RDA will be at the heart of exceptional care, assisting with clinical procedures, prepping rooms, and offering support to nervous patients. With the backing of Mosaic Dental Collective, there are opportunities for ongoing growth and a supportive network. Shift: 4 days a week, with a varied day off Monday-Friday. Pay Range: $20-$28 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Must have 1+ years of RDA experience
- Must be able to travel to the Wenatchee clinic location for training
- Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state
- Highly organized and attentive to patients’ needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Must be able to explain procedures and educate patients.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and exhibit a compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a diverse dental team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a wide range of clinical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize rooms and instruments with care and consistency
- Take digital x-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on post-op care and oral health maintenance
- Help keep the day flowing with a proactive, can-do attitude
