About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is a part-time position with a set schedule of Mon/Wed/Fri mornings, approximately 9 hours per week. The role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan created by a BCBA. Supervision is provided through in-session checks, observations, and feedback. The technician will collect session data and submit notes. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid and aims to keep therapy plans open by providing dedicated care managers and flexible scheduling around client and family availability.

Requirements

Active RBT certification with the BACB.
Prior ABA experience.
Availability Mon/Wed/Fri mornings, about 9 hours per week.
Reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Support to get RBT certification is offered if not yet certified.

Responsibilities

Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
Collect session data and submit notes.
Participate in QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback sessions.
Work with a BCBA who is already assigned to the client.
