About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Des Moines, Iowa. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, with exact session times after 2:45 PM for 2 hours each day. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and will provide a treatment plan and handoff before the first session. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Iowa and focuses on providing therapy tailored to the client's needs, family availability, and the RBT's schedule, rather than a corporate hours target. The role involves delivering direct therapy based on a BCBA-written treatment plan, collecting session data, and submitting notes. Non-billable time is paid at $10 per hour. The clinical team has over 40 years of combined ABA experience.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data.
• Submit notes for the work performed.
