About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a single client case in West Des Moines, Iowa. This part-time position offers approximately 15 hours per week, specifically Monday through Friday mornings from 9 am to 12 pm. The role involves delivering direct therapy based on a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan developed by an assigned BCBA. Supervision is provided with in-session checks, observations, and feedback. The RBT will collect session data and submit notes. Step Ahead ABA emphasizes supporting families on Medicaid and ensuring access to therapy, with a focus on building schedules around client needs, family availability, and the RBT's schedule, rather than corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri mornings, about 15 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes for work performed.
• Participate in supervision, including QA and IOA checks, observation, and feedback.
• Engage actively in sessions with the client.
