About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for one client in Mitchellville, Iowa. The schedule is Monday-Friday afternoons, approximately 10 hours per week, with exact session times from 3pm-5pm. This is a single client case. A BCBA is already assigned to this client and covers this region, providing a treatment plan and a handoff before the first session. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA supports families on Medicaid across Iowa, ensuring access to therapy regardless of income. Each family receives a dedicated care manager and a schedule tailored to the client's needs, the family's availability, and the RBT's availability, not dictated by corporate hour targets.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri afternoons, about 10 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
• Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
• Participate in QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Stay active and engaged in session.
