About The Position

Step Ahead ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician for a single client case in Manassas, Virginia. The schedule is Monday-Friday mornings, approximately 20 hours per week, with exact session times from 10 am to 2 pm. A BCBA is already assigned to the client and will provide a treatment plan and handoff. Current RBTs are given priority for new cases. Step Ahead ABA is committed to providing therapy to families on Medicaid across Virginia and ensures dedicated care managers and schedules that accommodate the client's needs, family's availability, and the RBT's schedule, rather than a corporate hours target.

Requirements

• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Prior ABA experience.
• Availability Mon–Fri mornings, about 20 hours per week.
• Reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Nice To Haves

• BCBA supervision and a pathway to becoming a BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan.
• Collect session data and submit notes for work performed.
• Participate in real supervision, including QA and IOA checks in session, observation, and feedback.
• Attend training and required meetings.
