About The Position

Our Child Therapy is a small organization in North Carolina providing care and support to children and families. The Registered Behavior Technician works with children and families to deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. The role includes implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and collecting data, with training and support provided in a team-oriented environment.

This is a part-time, in-person/in-home position in Lenoir, North Carolina. The schedule is Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $24.00–$28.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience working with children and strong people skills.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with children.
• Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director.
• Collect comprehensive data and maintain session reports.
• Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
• Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
• Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
• Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources.
• Maintain training materials and supplies.
• Advocate for children and families and facilitate referrals to community resources.
