About The Position

Our Child Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and families in a supportive team environment. The role involves implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and collecting data. The position is part-time and in-person/in-home in Lenoir, North Carolina, with a schedule of Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Compensation is $24.00–$28.00 per hour.

Requirements

Experience with children and strong people skills.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Work effectively with children.
Collaborate with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director.
Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports.
Implement behavior-based treatment plans.
Educate parents on classroom support techniques.
Ensure safety and quality care for clients.
Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources.
Maintain training materials and supplies.
Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources.
