About The Position

Westside is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide high-quality, play-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy at its Tinley Park clinic. The RBT works closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and families to support children with special needs, build strong relationships, and make therapy sessions engaging and enjoyable. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active RBT certification is required within 60 days of hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Competence with a variety of computer applications.
• A comfortable persona for developing relationships with children and their families.
• Passion for working with children with special needs and commitment to building strong relationships.
• Collaborative spirit and willingness to work with a team.
• Flexibility in adapting to each child’s unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement direct ABA therapy services for assigned clients.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with a BCBA to ask questions and receive feedback.
• Collect and record client behavioral data.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Partner with families and BCBAs to support each child’s progress.
• Adapt to each child’s unique needs and help make sessions engaging and enjoyable.
