About The Position

Illuminate is seeking a Spanish-fluent Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide personalized ABA therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The role involves teaching communication, social, play, and everyday life skills in clients’ homes and community settings, working with families and the clinical team, and tracking client progress. This is a part-time position with evening availability required and flexible availability across multiple days and times to accommodate client schedules. The position requires travel between assigned client locations.

Requirements

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
• Fluency in Spanish.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and comfort driving to client sessions.
• Access to and ability to use a smartphone or similar internet-connected device for capturing client session data.
• Ability to remain active throughout the day, including sitting on the floor, kneeling, bending, crouching, standing, and frequently transitioning between floor and standing.
• Ability to lift or assist children and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. as required by assigned cases.
• Energy, patience, and professionalism when working with children and responding to challenging behaviors.
• Must have evening availability.

Nice To Haves

• Recent experience working with children and/or individuals with developmental disabilities in a home setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy.
• Teach communication, social, play, and everyday life skills using ABA therapy.
• Track client progress during sessions and record session data using an electronic device.
• Implement behavior support plans and actively engage with children.
• Help ensure client safety by responding calmly and appropriately to challenging behaviors.
• Travel reliably between assigned client locations.
• Maintain open and flexible availability to support client scheduling needs, including daytime, after-school, and evening sessions as assigned.
