Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current RBT certification with the BACB (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Respond quickly from seated or kneeling positions
  • Stand for at least 15 minutes at a time
  • Lift up to 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ABA, education, mental health, childcare, or related fields
  • College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or a related field
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Implement Treatment Plans: Carry out behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans developed by the supervising BCBA to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Provide Direct 1:1 ABA Therapy: Deliver individualized, evidence-based ABA therapy in clinic, home, school, and community environments.
  • Collect and Record Data: Accurately document client progress, behavior data, and treatment outcomes using electronic data collection systems.
  • Collaborate with Families and Clinical Team: Maintain professional communication with caregivers and provide feedback to supervising clinicians regarding client progress and barriers to treatment.
  • Utilize Technology: Use tablets and web-based software to collect data, review programs, complete session notes, and communicate with the clinical team.
  • Promote a Positive Learning Environment: Create a fun, engaging, safe, and structured environment that promotes learning, independence, and dignity for every client.
  • Participate in Professional Development: Attend supervision meetings, trainings, and team events while maintaining BACB compliance and RBT certification requirements.
