About The Position

Golden Steps ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism. RBTs follow individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA and help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills. The role includes BCBA guidance, team collaboration, paid training, ongoing supervision, and opportunities for professional development and advancement. The position is described as clinic-based, with a Monday–Friday schedule and full-time or part-time availability indicated in the posting.

Requirements

• Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification, if applicable to the opening.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
• Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities.
• Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation if travel to client homes is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism, following treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
• Use treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed for each client.
• Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
• Share observations and questions with the supervising BCBA.
• Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
