About The Position

Golden Steps ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism. The RBT follows individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA and works with children and families to support meaningful progress. The role is based in a clinic in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with BCBA guidance, paid training, ongoing supervision, and professional development opportunities. The schedule is described as “[Full-time/Part-time]” and Monday through Friday. The listed hourly pay is $22–$26 for BTs and $24–$32 for RBTs. Requirements

Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification, if applicable to the opening.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities; helpful but not required.
Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
Use client-specific treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed by a BCBA.
Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
Share observations and questions with the supervising BCBA.
Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
