About The Position

Golden Steps ABA is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one applied behavior analysis services to children and young adults with autism in an in-clinic setting in Knoxville, Tennessee. RBTs follow individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), with ongoing supervision and guidance from the clinical team. The role offers paid training, ongoing BCBA supervision, and opportunities for professional development and advancement. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $23–$25 per hour.

Requirements

Current RBT certification or willingness to complete RBT training and certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear communication, reliability, and a commitment to learning.
Ability to meet applicable background check requirements.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities.
Experience in childcare, education, special education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA services to children and young adults with autism in accordance with BCBA-developed treatment plans.
Teach communication, social, and daily living skills through individualized sessions.
Use the treatment strategies and behavior support plans developed for each client.
Record session data and complete documentation accurately and on time.
Share observations and questions with the supervising BCBA.
Participate in supervision, training, and team meetings.
Build respectful, professional relationships with clients and families.
