About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT at the Child & Career Development Center Great Valley Campus! CCRES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of dedicated and highly-trained staff members who provide quality services to schools, children, adults, and families. We work collaboratively with school districts, intermediate units, and the behavioral health system. The mission statement is: Connecting schools and communities with caring professionals and resources that make a difference where it matters most. A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support. The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • National certification as an RBT - active
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
  • PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year
  • Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support
  • Direct implementation of a crisis management plan
  • Complex verbal behavior programming
  • Extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis
  • Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB
  • Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)
