About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT))! A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support. The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • National certification as an RBT - active
  • Current certification in both CPR/First Aide
  • Current certification in Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints)
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (current within 12 months)
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (current within 12 months)
  • PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN (current within 12 months)
  • TB Screening - current within 3 months
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.
  • Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs

Responsibilities

  • Directly implement behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
  • Work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs.
  • Implement a crisis management plan daily.
  • Implement complex verbal behavior programming.
  • Perform extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
  • Practice under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.
