School-based Registered Behavior Technician / RBT
About The Position
Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT at the Engle Education Center. The RBT is a paraprofessional who works directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs. This includes students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan, complex verbal behavior programming, and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services, including instruction and behavioral support, under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA.
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalency
- National certification as an RBT - active
- Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (current within 12 months)
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (current within 12 months)
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN (current within 12 months)
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript

- Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs
Responsibilities
- Directly implement behavior-analytic services, including instruction and behavioral support.
- Work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs.
- Implement crisis management plans daily.
- Implement complex verbal behavior programming.
- Conduct extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis.
- Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB.
- Maintain current certification in CPR/First Aide and Safety Care Training (De-escalation, and Escorts & Restraints).
