About The Position

Make a difference every day by joining CCRES as a Registered Behavior Technician / RBT! OFFERING PAID CREDENTIALS - Eliminating upfront costs for necessary clearances & TB screening! PAY RATE - $30 per hour and progresses to $32 per hour (W2 employment) Rate is based on years of related experience OPENING: RBT floater needed in elementary schools, 8:30am -3:30pm (6.5 paid hours per day on full school day) A Registered Behavior Technician / RBT is a paraprofessional who can work directly with students who have significant behavioral and/or instructional needs including students who require daily implementation of a crisis management plan; require complex verbal behavior programming; and/or extensive data collection, graphing, and analysis. The RBT is responsible for the direct implementation of behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support The RBT practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA To be successful in this role, you must meet all of the following expectations: School-based cases, must have availability to work Monday through Friday following the academic calendar year Maintain RBT certification as mandated by the BACB Maintain current certification in both CPR/First Aide and Crisis Prevention Intervention trainings. For this position, prior experience utilizing Safety Care and/or physical management techniques is highly preferred Ability to travel between school buildings is required The preferred candidate will have familiarity with using various methods of data collection

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
  • National certification as an RBT - active
  • PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance (current within 12 months)
  • PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance (current within 12 months)
  • PA Department of Education FBI (current within 12 months)
  • TB Screening (current within 3 months)
  • Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcript

Nice To Haves

  • Will consider applicants with completed 40 hours of RBT training designed to meet the 2026 training eligibility requirement for RBT certification.
  • Worked a minimum of 1 year directly with individuals with special needs.
  • Prior experience utilizing Safety Care and/or physical management techniques is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with using various methods of data collection.

Responsibilities

  • Directly implement behavior-analytic services including instruction and behavioral support.
