About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work one-on-one with a child in their home in Queens. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.

Requirements

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to and from the family's home in Brooklyn (12435)

Nice To Haves

  • degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized behavioral plans and strategies to support the child's skill development and behavioral reduction goals
  • Conduct daily sessions with the child, focusing on skill-building, socialization, and behavioral support
  • Collect and record data on the child's progress, communicating regularly with the supervising BCBA
  • Collaborate with the child's family and other support staff to ensure consistency and generalization of skills
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the child
