About The Position

Step Ahead ABA has an in-home case open in Clayton, NC, and is looking for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to fill it. This role involves delivering direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by a BCBA. The BCBA is assigned before the RBT starts and provides supportive supervision, including competency assessments, observation, and feedback. The RBT will collect session data and submit notes for their work. Non-billable time, such as training and required meetings, is paid. Requirements

  • Active RBT registration with the BACB, current on your start date.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior ABA experience.
  • Availability Mon–Fri mornings.
  • Comfort working in a family's home.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Able to stay active and engaged in session.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 97153 direct therapy to a treatment plan and behavior intervention plan written by the BCBA.
  • Collect session data and submit notes for the work performed.
  • Participate in competency assessments, observation, and feedback provided by the BCBA.

  • Show up consistently for sessions.
