Booleroo Centre District Hospital is a small rural hospital serving the community of Booleroo Centre in the Southern Flinders Ranges, approximately 250 kilometres north of Adelaide. The hospital provides acute inpatient care, palliative care, residential aged care, and a 24-hour Emergency Department, with six acute inpatient beds and 10–12 state-funded aged care beds. Nurses work dynamically across these service areas, supported by an onsite GP practice with after-hours on-call coverage and the SA Virtual Emergency Service. The vacancies are for a Registered Nurse at 1.5 FTE on a permanent basis and an Enrolled Nurse at 0.42 FTE on a temporary basis until 31 January 2027. The roles offer the opportunity to work across acute, aged care, and emergency services in a supportive, collaborative team, with encouragement to develop skills, expand scope of practice, pursue professional interests, build leadership capability, and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network promotes a safe and inclusive workplace where employees are valued. Applicants must be registered or eligible for enrolment as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate. Employment screening and immunisation requirements apply.
