About The Position
Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is recruiting Registered and Enrolled Nurses at Wallaroo Hospital. Available positions include Registered Nurse – Acute Ward (2.10 FTE, various contracts), Enrolled Nurse – Perioperative (0.53 FTE, permanent), and Enrolled Nurse – Acute Ward (4.46 FTE, permanent, and 2.95 FTE, temporary until 29 January 2027). Wallaroo Hospital is a regional healthcare provider with 21 acute beds. Services include 24-hour accident and emergency care, acute and general medical services, chemotherapy, medical imaging, surgical services, obstetric and maternity care, palliative care, and outpatient clinics. The hospital is located in the coastal town of Wallaroo, approximately 160 kilometres north of Adelaide. Requirements
- Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
- Undergo employment screening and meet immunisation requirements.
- Demonstrate integrity and commitment to providing service to the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing services within the applicable acute ward or perioperative setting.
