About The Position
Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is recruiting Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to work at Port Pirie Regional Health Service. Vacancies are available across the Acute/Medical Ward, Surgical Ward/Delivery Suite, Emergency Department, Chemotherapy, Nurse-led clinic (NLAS), and Perioperative services. Positions include permanent and temporary contracts, with temporary contract end dates or availability varying by role. The listed vacancies range from 0.37 to 4.96 FTE. Port Pirie Regional Health Service is a 52-bed acute facility providing emergency care, perioperative services, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, birthing services, outpatient services, and acute medical and surgical care. It receives more than 15,000 Emergency Department presentations annually and is supported by an onsite medical team and SA Pharmacy, SA Pathology, SA Dental Service, and SA Medical Imaging. The service emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, inclusivity, professional growth, and person-centred care. The workplace is in Port Pirie, 223 kilometres north of Adelaide. The local area offers access to coastal and rural scenery, retail and cultural attractions, sporting events, and hiking trails. Applicants must be registered, or eligible for enrolment, as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
