About The Position
Crystal Brook District Hospital in South Australia’s Mid North provides 24/7 accident and emergency care as well as medical, surgical, maternity, and aged care services. Services include general medical and surgical care, same-day and short-term care, inpatient and outpatient services, patient transport, obstetrics and palliative care, day therapy, Meals on Wheels, parenting and family education, and personal and planned care for older people. Maternity services include a birthing suite with shared-care arrangements, antenatal education and classes, and postnatal community midwifery visits. Residential aged care and respite are also available at the hospital and Southern Flinders Health. The advertised opportunities comprise Registered Nurse positions at 0.53 FTE permanent, 0.84 FTE temporary until 12/03/2027, and 0.42 FTE temporary until 04/02/2028; and Enrolled Nurse positions at 0.63 FTE temporary until 01/01/2027 and 0.42 FTE temporary until 23/01/2028. Salary ranges are $79,381 to $108,311 per annum pro rata for RN/M1 and $67,883 to $79,381 per annum pro rata for ENC/END. Requirements
- Be registered or eligible for enrolment as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Hold or be eligible to hold a current practising certificate.
- Undergo employment screening.
- Meet immunisation requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide healthcare services to patients and the community through the hospital’s medical, surgical, maternity, and aged care services.
- Contribute to care in a hospital providing 24/7 accident and emergency services.
- Support the hospital’s inpatient and outpatient, obstetric, palliative care, and residential aged care services.
