About The Position

Aegis Financial (an Integrity Company) is a national insurance and financial firm established in 1996, located in Wheat Ridge, CO. We specialize in recruiting independent insurance agents and advisors to our firm while consulting them on product choices and business development. Our rapidly growing firm is currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated, business savvy individual to fill the position of Regional Vice President. This is an inside marketing/sales position working from our office located in Wheat Ridge. The average tenure of this position is over 9 years. This position is part recruiting, part sales, and part marketing support working Business-2-Business clientele.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise and manage others.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, development, and motivation to staff to achieve superior results and accomplish overall business objectives.
  • Demonstrate ability to think at both at a strategic and tactical level.
  • Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business, including advanced sales concepts and ideas.
  • Requires excellent organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Independent judgment strong work ethic is required to plan, prioritize, organize, and accomplish a diversified workload.
  • Must be able to manage effectively in a matrix organization, influence and negotiate across boundaries.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, email, and meeting management software.
  • Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Must have the ability to communicate persuasively and effectively and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.
  • Fosters open communication and supports an environment of innovation and creative change.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in business/finance/marketing or experience in the related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Build your own group of agents to contribute to the overall production of the company
  • Recruit advisors through a variety of methods including phone, email, computer screen sharing tools, and pre-recorded webinars
  • Build//support/maintain relationships with agents and their practices nationwide
  • Provide agents with product information from our insurance carriers represented through our firm, quotations and/or materials to aid in the agent’s sales process
  • Some travel required- Flexible and includes incentive trips
  • Perform other similar and related duties as required
