About The Position

Ascension DePaul Services of New Orleans affiliates with DCHC, which manages multiple Federally Qualified Health Center locations in the Greater New Orleans area. The organization is committed to improving community health and continuing a long tradition of health ministry. DCSNO is seeking a full-time Vice President of Operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position manages the daily operations of DePaul Community Health Center primary care clinics, including in-clinic and school-based medical centers. Working with the COO and Chief Medical Officer, the Vice President of Operations supports strategic and operational objectives and is accountable for practice culture and engagement, staff development, and clinic staff recruitment and retention. The role collaborates with peers, clinical leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal clinic operations, growth, and regulatory compliance. It works closely with the Vice President of Clinical Integration to coordinate clinic support programs such as Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Dental, and Vision. The position maintains daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly scorecards and is accountable for clinical, financial, and operational performance across primary care clinics. It contributes to DePaul Community Health Centers leadership and works with colleagues and physician partners to achieve strategic objectives for the medical clinics.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Business Administration, preferably in a health-related field.
At least seven years of experience in physician practice management and multi-site practices.
Proven achievement in fiscal management and cost control, practice development, strategic planning, and staff leadership.
Demonstrated ability to communicate and relate effectively with physicians and establish productive, cohesive physician partnerships.
Successful track record of standardizing operations across multiple clinics.

Nice To Haves

Ten or more years of experience in physician practice management and multi-site practices.
Experience in the community healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for the financial and operational performance of primary care virtual and brick-and-mortar businesses.
Partner with medical leads in the practices to develop plans for operational, growth, and quality goals.
Implement strategies to improve patient and team member engagement.
Ensure high-quality patient care and services, including management of patient flow and access, coordination of ancillary services, and improvement of patient support and service.
Serve as the DePaul Community Health Centers liaison for primary care-related research projects, initiatives, and programs.
Meet regularly with clinical teams and special program staff to support primary care activities and shared program goals or grant deliverables.
Drive integration of services within clinics, including Behavioral Health, Pharmacy, Community Health Workers, and Insurance Navigation services.
Collaborate on implementation of population health and value-based care initiatives.
Maintain clinic performance scorecards and assist in developing and implementing improved metrics.
Identify long-term market and technology trends and strategies.
Perform other related duties as required.
