Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist - California
About The Position
Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist to join their team. This full-time position will be based out of Sacramento, San Jose, Los Angeles, or Orange County, CA, and will involve travel throughout all California clinics, with approximately 30% overnight travel expected. The role is situated in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area, treating patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. The Clinician will treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Pediatricians and parents rely on Clinicians as experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company values diverse backgrounds and notes that PTs, OTs, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists are all considered strong fits for this role.
Requirements
- Licensed OT
- 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
