About The Position

Cranial Technologies is seeking a Regional Traveling Occupational Therapist to join their team. This full-time position will be based out of Hollywood, Jupiter, Boca Raton, or Miami, FL, and will involve travel throughout all Florida clinics. The role is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, exclusively working with infants. This is a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area, treating patients in a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. As a Clinician, you will treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Pediatricians and parents rely on Clinicians as experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from various backgrounds, recognizing the unique strengths each brings. PTs and OTs are a good fit due to their knowledge of symmetry/asymmetry, cervical anatomy, torticollis, and infant/toddler development. Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists are also a strong fit due to their hands-on experience with orthotics and direct patient care. While a background in pediatrics is preferred, it is not necessary due to a formal training program with mentoring.

Requirements

• Licensed OT
• 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
