About The Position

As a Regional Sales Manager, your role would include establishing and maintaining strong long-term customer partnerships with your chimney professionals, hearth stores, and other customer segments. You will work to expand the Copperfield Chimney brand throughout your territory. Territory included: PA

  • BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 5 YEARS OF PRIOR REGIONAL PROFESSIONAL SALES EXPERIENCE
  • DEMONSTRATED SUCCESS MEETING AND EXCEEDING SALES GOALS
  • VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
  • For remote work, the employee must have high-speed broadband internet and phone connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors customer and market activity as well as the competitive landscape to ensure competitive solutions/offerings and to inform marketing efforts
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
  • Travels throughout assigned area to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, or talk with customers by phone, text and/or email
  • Uses in-depth knowledge of product application to assist customers. Promote and/or coordinate product training or demonstrations for customers as needed through Copperfield Academy
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Facilitates the resolution of customer needs by working with internal company partners.
  • Maintains technical and professional knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional networking events, and industry trade shows.
  • Keeps leadership informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
  • Plans for the achievement of individual, team, and divisional targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company
  • Supports cross-selling programs and campaigns
