Requirements

  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ten years of progressively Sales experience
  • Ability to use computer for long periods of time
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Be able to pass drug screen and background check

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct sales for multiple cities in a region.
  • Manage local Account Managers and sales staff for the region.
  • Ensure the delivery of targets through sales management including but not limited performance reviews, people management and reward.
  • Develop short and long term goals for the region.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set sales gross profit and revenue goals.
  • Develop field sales action plans to facilitate reaching regional goals.
  • Set short term goals to meet sales target for the region.
  • Keep current on regional market economic indicators, changing trends and competitors.
  • Have a small book of business that will enhance regional sales.
  • Provide necessary support to local Account Managers to help them meet their goals.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop cross product selling and campaigns.
  • Train new sales staff.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance as scheduled.
  • Work cooperatively with others.
