Atkore is currently searching for a Regional Sales Manager for the Florida Region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will have primary responsibility for driving revenue and market share growth on all Atkore products across our business units through the development and execution of our strategic initiatives. This person must be located in or around a major city within the region and will require travel mainly around Florida with some travel to nearby states. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar role and/or industry. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to work remotely and travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Bachelor's Degree required with 5 plus years of related experience in sales.
  • Experience working with a distribution/manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiating Skills, Presentation Skills, Analytical Skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Windows Applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
  • Prior use of Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continued growth for our product portfolio of municipal and plumbing products through our network of agents and distributors, as well as key end user influencers and specifiers where applicable.
  • Educate, train & develop our Sales Agents and end users on products through lunch and learns, demonstrations, job site visits, and field training.
  • Enter, track, manage, and report on projects, opportunities, and territory sales plans using Salesforce.com and other tools as needed.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as needed.
  • Manage performance of Sales Agents and make changes as warranted.
  • Conduct sales objective reviews by product for all agencies and each direct salesperson.
  • Assist in the evaluation and processing of field quality complaints and returns.
  • Manage travel & entertainment expenses in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Complete other projects, initiatives, duties, and responsibilities as required.
