About The Position

Workday is seeking an exceptional leader with a stellar sales record to capitalize on strategic accounts as a Regional Sales Director. This role involves leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Senior Account Executives who sell Workday’s Solutions to existing customers. The team is passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated to be part of one of the most innovative and disruptive cloud companies. The Enterprise Management Sales team focuses on growing the company by balancing integrity and innovation, ensuring a supportive environment for employees to perform at their best and develop themselves and their colleagues. The Regional Sales Director will be a key leader driving new business and orchestrating complex sales cycles through internal teams including pre-sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing, and sales support. The role requires employing effective selling strategies to position Workday as a preferred cloud partner and alternative to legacy ERP solutions.

Requirements

  • M5: 2+ years of field sales management experience as a SaaS company, ideally focused on new business acquisition, with additional 8+ years as a field sales representative
  • M5: 8+ Experience selling cloud/ SaaS/ ERP solutions
  • M5: 8+ years experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue/quota attainment
  • M5: 5+ years experience as a leader in a team selling environment
  • M4: 8+ years experience selling cloud/ SaaS/ ERP/ analytics solutions
  • M4: 8+ years experience managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue/quota attainment
  • M4: 5+ years experience as a leader in a team selling environment
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts
  • Proven experience of pulling together different business units to maximize on sales
  • Experience maintaining accurate forecasting data and business modeling for senior leadership
  • Self-starter attitude with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
