About The Position

The Regional Practice Manager - Community Health Services Network (Primary Care) role involves supervising Practice Managers and Practice Supervisors to oversee the operations of a group of CHSN practices. This position serves as the first level of Network Leadership for an assigned group of CHSN practices, focusing on promoting excellent clinical care, patient and family experience, and staff satisfaction. The role also involves identifying and facilitating process improvements, managing practice-level leadership meetings, and ensuring effective communication and accountability for financial performance. Additionally, the position supports revenue cycle management, assists with practice acquisitions and onboarding, mentors leadership development, monitors and recommends facility needs, and manages financial operations including budgeting and financial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Practice Managers and Practice Supervisors that manage the operations of a group of CHSN practices.
  • Provides the first level of Network Leadership to an assigned group of CHSN practices.
  • Works with practice level leaders and physicians to promote excellent clinical care and an excellent experience for patients and families, and staff.
  • Identifies and facilitates process improvement needs that improve patient experience, patient flow, or employee satisfaction through the practices.
  • Facilitates practice level leadership meetings at each of assigned practices and ensures institutional communications are appropriately shared with staff, and that practice leaders and physicians are held accountable to financial performance expectations.
  • Works with Practice Director and Practice Managers and Supervisors to develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
  • Supports Practice Managers and Supervisors with billing and other revenue cycle needs and works in support of Managers and Supervisors by serving as the leadership liaison with the central Physician and Hospital Billing office.
  • Works with Practice Director and Assistant Vice President-Operations on practice acquisitions within their assigned region of responsibility, and with the onboarding of practice sites to the CHSN network.
  • Mentors and develops leadership skills and provides developmental opportunities through education/training, feedback, and coaching of Practice Managers and Practice Supervisors or other appropriate staff.
  • Monitors and recommends facility needs, makes recommendations for improvement (expansion, updating, relocation) based on practice strategic goals and budgets, and community needs.
  • Maintains leases for practices, including evaluation for market competitiveness.
  • Serves as the Primary Network Leadership liaison with Facilities and Real Estate.
  • In collaboration with leadership, develop, implement and evaluate the department's annual and capital budget to achieve the organizational and departmental objectives.
  • Monitor internal controls for cash management.
  • Maintain and monitor financial controls.
  • Ensure accounts receivable management.
  • Analyze and monitor financial performance and assist in the reporting of financial results.
  • Evaluate variances, determine underlying causes and identify, present, and implement proposed solutions.
  • Establish and monitor productivity metrics.
  • Accountable for compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensures staff provides outstanding customer service and satisfies caller's request each and every time.
  • Manages the survey requirements for assigned divisions and ensures team meets departmental goals for customer service.
  • Build and maintain constructive/effective relationships with all internal and external customers.
