About The Position

Home, Hope and Healing is seeking a full-time Regional Nurse Manager (RNM) to oversee home health clients and nursing staff across the Penobscot, Hancock, Piscataquis, and Washington County region. The role specializes in 1:1 nursing care for individuals with medically fragile health conditions. This position utilizes a case management model, involving case-managing a client caseload and the team providing care. The RNM is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations and management for the designated geographic region.

Requirements

  • Valid Maine RN license.
  • Solid clinical background (ICU, ER and/or ventilator experience a plus).
  • Previous home health, case management and leadership experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or an Associate Degree in Nursing with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Superior clinical assessment and supervisory skills.
  • Business focus dedicated to quality, customer service, and efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills (empathetic, yet decisive and firm when needed).
  • Excellent boundaries.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize potential issues before they escalate.
  • Proficient in MSOffice and use of secure networks.
  • Must have a valid Maine Driver's license, reliable transportation, auto liability insurance and a good driving record.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients in the assigned region.
  • Advocate for client and family needs.
  • Complete and manage documentation within specified time frames such as authorization requests and plans of care.
  • Provide clinical and educational support to staff and clients.
  • Participate in process improvement plans to ensure regulatory and agency policies are followed, while modeling organizational values.
  • Assist and support staff as needed.
  • Interview, hire, and educate nursing staff.
  • Performance management for the assigned home health team.
  • Make decisions that add value to HHH while achieving quality and fiscal responsibility.
  • Establish and implement care plans for new clients.
