About The Position

Ascentria Care Alliance is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to partner with their skilled nursing communities across Massachusetts and Connecticut. This leadership role involves mentoring Directors of Nursing, strengthening clinical operations, driving quality outcomes, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, resident-centered care. The organization emphasizes that exceptional clinical leadership changes lives for both residents and care teams.

Requirements

  • Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
  • Five or more years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
  • At least three years of successful Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, quality measures, and long-term care operations.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to coach, influence, and inspire teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Directors of Nursing to elevate clinical performance and resident outcomes.
  • Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze clinical data and identify opportunities to improve CMS Five-Star performance.
  • Coach, develop, and mentor nursing leaders across multiple communities.
  • Lead clinical turnarounds and support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic clinical initiatives and workforce planning.
