About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time hybrid Primary Care Physician to serve as Regional Medical Director for correctional facilities in Northwest Missouri, including locations in Vandalia, Bowling Green, and St. Louis. The Regional Medical Director provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at assigned sites and delivers direct clinical services to patients. The role also provides clinical supervision for medical staff under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Regional Medical Director collaborates with the site Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services. The position participates in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics, as requested. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with two days on-site and three days remote.

Requirements

MD or DO.
Active, unrestricted Missouri license.
Missouri BNDD registration.
Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and credentialing.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at assigned sites.
Provide direct clinical services to patients.
Provide clinical supervision for medical staff at assigned sites under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director.
Collaborate with the site Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
Participate in committees, including Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics, as requested.
