About The Position

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time hybrid Primary Care Physician to serve as Regional Medical Director for correctional facilities in Southeast Missouri, including Charleston and Licking. The role provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at assigned sites, delivers direct clinical services to patients, and provides clinical supervision for site medical staff under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Regional Medical Director collaborates with the site Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services and participates in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics, as requested.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.
• Active, unrestricted Missouri license.
• Missouri BNDD registration.
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements at assigned sites.
• Provide direct clinical services to patients.
• Provide clinical supervision for medical staff at assigned sites under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director.
• Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics committees as requested.
