About The Position

The Studio Manager is responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, team development, and service standards of Stretch Zone Wesley Chapel. This hands-on leadership role drives membership growth, coaches the sales and practitioner teams, builds relationships within the local community, and ensures every member receives an exceptional Stretch Zone experience.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience, preferably in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or another membership-based business.
  • Strong sales background with demonstrated success meeting goals.
  • Experience coaching employees and creating team accountability.
  • Ability to understand business metrics and turn results into practical action plans.
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable conducting community outreach and developing local partnerships.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends based on studio needs.
  • Proficiency with common business software and the ability to learn company systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing a boutique fitness, wellness, or membership-based studio.
  • Experience with presales or opening a new business location.
  • Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, and membership-management systems.
  • Experience reviewing budgets, payroll, and profit-and-loss statements.
  • Proven success developing community partnerships and referral relationships.
  • Background in fitness, personal training, healthcare, or wellness.
  • College degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor revenue, active memberships, lead-to-demo rates, closing percentages, retention, refunds, and other key performance indicators.
  • Establish daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals and hold the team accountable for achieving them.
  • Coach Sales Associates on lead follow-up, appointment booking, consultations, and membership sales.
  • Analyze studio performance and develop clear plans for improvement.
  • Prepare accurate reports and explain performance compared with established goals and budgets.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop Sales Associates and Stretch Practitioners.
  • Create employee schedules and maintain appropriate studio coverage.
  • Lead structured weekly team meetings with defined priorities and action items.
  • Monitor employee timekeeping, attendance, productivity, and practitioner utilization.
  • Maintain a consistent presence in the studio while supporting sales and daily operations.
  • Ensure reports are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Implement Stretch Zone procedures, promotions, training, and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming, and professional studio environment.
  • Develop relationships with local gyms, healthcare providers, employers, residential communities, vendors, and other community organizations.
  • Schedule and conduct qualified outreach meetings.
  • Coordinate community events, presentations, and on-site demonstrations.
  • Establish active referral and promotional partnerships.
  • Maintain a monthly outreach report documenting meetings, events, partnerships, and follow-up activity.
  • Ensure every member receives a consistent, professional, and welcoming experience.
  • Monitor member satisfaction and address issues affecting retention.
  • Resolve elevated member concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Build strong relationships with members and create a positive studio community.
