Regional Manager of Affordable Housing Communities
About The Position
Carteret Management Corporation is hiring a Regional Manager to lead performance across a portfolio of affordable housing communities in Central Florida. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to support operational success, regulatory compliance, and exceptional resident experiences. The Regional Manager partners with on-site teams to improve performance, optimize operations, and strengthen communities, in alignment with Carteret’s values of customer service, communication, and competency. The position requires travel. Carteret Management Corporation manages more than 5,000 apartment homes statewide and has worked in affordable housing across Florida since 1971.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years as a Regional Manager, or at least 10 years as an on-site Property Manager with relevant certifications.
- Relevant certifications for the on-site Property Manager experience pathway: TCS, COS, HCCP, CP3, NAHP, or equivalent.
- Expertise in Fair Housing and Landlord-Tenant laws.
- Proven leadership in multi-site property management.
- Deep knowledge of affordable housing programs and compliance.
- Strong operational and financial management skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Passion for developing teams and improving communities.
