The Regional Infrastructure Maintenance Coordinator supports the planning, maintenance, and long-term management of park infrastructure and assets across the region. The role ensures facilities and infrastructure remain safe, functional, and sustainable while enhancing the visitor experience. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality infrastructure that supports Alberta Parks operations and visitor experiences.

Requirements

  • Two-year technical diploma (Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Project Management, Asset Management, or a related field) plus Four years related experience (infrastructure maintenance, asset management, facility management, construction, utilities, municipal infrastructure, or project management).
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in contract development and management related to construction or facility management.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with diverse staff and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate infrastructure inspections, condition assessments, and asset inventories to support asset management planning.
  • Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs for facilities, utilities, equipment, and other park assets.
  • Support lifecycle planning and Capital Maintenance and Renewal initiatives through data analysis and project planning.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to staff, contractors, and stakeholders on maintenance and asset management practices.
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance and rehabilitation projects, including procurement, contract administration, and project delivery.
  • Ensure infrastructure records, maintenance documentation, and operating procedures are accurate and up to date.
