About The Position

The Regional Information Technology (IT) Manager provides technical support services to internal users, troubleshooting issues related to computers, network devices, application software, and mobile devices across a specified region. This role also supports the rollout and training of new projects and technology and participates in other technological support processes to ensure effective system use and a positive user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
  • 8 years of IT experience related to support, implementation, or administration
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS, Infrastructure, and computing architecture
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal; capable of conveying information clearly to team members, leadership, customers, and external vendors/suppliers
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change while keeping teams and strategic initiatives on track
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks/projects and meet commitments; able to create clarity about what success looks like and achieve results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, One Note, PowerPoint; ability to create clear and informative documentation and diagrams

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement regional end-user computing activities
  • Implement and maintain regional end-user computing systems
  • Liaison between the application and network infrastructure divisions to facilitate effective communication and collaboration, ensuring both teams are aligned on project goals and timelines.
  • Provide technical support and deliver guidance and training on the effective use of end-user computing systems and related technologies
  • Ensure the security of end-user devices and protect company data.
  • Work with applicable business units to identify, recommend and implement areas of improvement for automated workflow and procedures.
  • Work with vendors on performance issues, support tickets, enhancements and upcoming releases.
  • Work to optimize underutilized software/applications.
  • Own regional incident and service request queues; monitor aging tickets, redistribute load, and intervene on stalled or at-risk items
  • Facilitate operational alignment between regional teams and central Information Technology operations to ensure consistent execution of enterprise policies and processes
  • Manage regional technology assets, including physical inventory, spare equipment pool, and hardware logistics, in coordination with procurement and facilities teams
