About The Position

The Regional HR Manager will be responsible for supporting locations in their region with daily functions including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, benefits, FMLA, performance support, enforcement of company policies/procedures as well as general office administration. Primarily responsible for ensuring that the company goals and objectives are met in a timely and accurate manner.

  • B.S. Degree on Human Resources or related field.

  • Must have computer skills in Excel and Word applications.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support on recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, payroll, benefits, FMLA, performance support, enforcement of company policies/procedures, and general office administration to locations in their region.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, and facilitate the hiring process of qualified applicants for open positions.
  • Work with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies and schedules required for positions.
  • Perform routine tasks including compensation, benefits, leaves of absence; disciplinary matters; disputes, investigations, terminations and exit interviews; recognitions; training and development.
  • Enhance job satisfaction by facilitating issue resolution promptly and organizing team building activities.
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
  • Promote and enforce all safety procedures, policies and rules.
  • Submit workers compensation claims to insurance carrier in a timely manner and provide tracking information to supervisors and Director of Safety including work statuses and follow-up appointments until claim is resolved.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Responsible for drafting, updating, and maintaining HR forms, files, and HRIS system.
  • Participate in human resource staff meetings and attend other meetings, seminars, and trainings as required.
  • Ensure proper filing and maintain all personnel files and HR records including I-9 compliance.
  • Travel to plants at least once per month to support the local HR and management team on a regular basis.
  • Ensure scorecards are completed accurately weekly.
  • Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with HR team to provide guidance and accountability.
  • Promote and drive employee relations initiatives across the region.
  • Audit HRGs payroll tasks monthly.
  • Perform any other duties as manager sees fit.
