As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for leave of absences, accommodations, workers comp, compliance, employee relations, investigations, coaching and counseling sessions, terminations and union grievances along with other miscellaneous tasks including basic HR functions. This position may also assist with recruitment and other special projects while ensuring compliance with company policies, federal and local state laws. To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and be able to function in a high-pressure environment.
