Regional Hospital Development Coordinator
About The Position
At LifeNet Health, the Regional Hospital Development Coordinator supports the mission of Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The role works independently or alongside other Regional Hospital Development Coordinators to educate hospital staff, leadership, and physician groups and to conduct regular hospital rounds that increase organ and tissue donation. The coordinator supports hospitals in improving donation processes by refining policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards and federal and state laws. The position assesses donor potential, evaluates the efficiency of hospital donation systems, and documents results accurately and promptly. It completes required hospital reports, maintains precise electronic documentation of hospital activity, and participates in internal meetings to evaluate Hospital Development initiatives and recommend improvements. The role also trains and mentors assigned LifeNet Health staff and ensures compliance with organizational Quality Systems and Corporate Compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Three years of experience working with hospitals.
- A good understanding of hospital state and federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
