About The Position

Intralox has a SERVICE+ Technician position serving Minnesota and Wisconsin, with Rochester, Minnesota, as the center of the territory. The technician provides technical service and support for low-tension polymer belting technology in conveyor applications, managing a territory with an approximately 400-mile (5- to 6-hour) radius. Some additional North American travel, including to Canada, is required but anticipated to be minimal beyond the regional travel pattern. The role involves approximately 70% travel, or 168 days away per year, typically visiting clusters of customer facilities for several days before returning home. Some locations may be close enough for same-day return. Periodic air travel is required, so reasonable access to a regional airport is needed. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, technical and problem-solving skills, and an outgoing, customer-service-oriented approach. The technician builds relationships with maintenance managers and customers, collaborates with commercial account managers, and produces detailed customer-facing reports. As a technical resource, the technician supports proactive customer connections and reactive service needs, develops professional relationships with production plants, schedules visits, identifies opportunities, trains customers onsite, and responds promptly to customer issues. The role emphasizes food customers in a particular North American region. Intralox is a division of Laitram, L.L.C., offering conveyance solutions and services. The company reports a global workforce of over 3,000 employees in more than 20 countries and says it has delivered solutions for more than 50 years. Its stated principles include treating customers, employees, and suppliers with honesty, fairness, and respect; valuing ideas from any source; using trust as the foundation for work; and recognizing self-managed people as its greatest asset.
