About The Position

American Security & Investigations is hiring experienced Float Security Officers to serve and protect buildings and facilities in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. Full-time and part-time float positions are available, with varying schedules generally ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week. The hourly rate is $19.50–$23.00. Officers patrol buildings, facilities, or work sites; investigate and report hazards or suspicious circumstances; secure doors and windows; enforce rules and regulations; and respond to alarms. The role requires previous security experience. Level 2 positions may involve physically demanding defensive maneuvers and restraints. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Must complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Must be able to meet physical requirements, including walking and patrolling, climbing stairs, and performing CPR.
Must have previous security experience.
Candidates for Level 2 positions must be able to perform defensive maneuvers and restraints, which can be physically demanding.
